Hilda 2/6

When Hilda gets really quiet she feels every cell on her feet as they slide through the snow. Each little crystal sends a ping up to say hello. Today she is trying to take the path of the deer, which is the opposite of the crow, but is better for deep snow. The crow is all action. The big mama deer looks ahead to the steep hills and across through the saplings to find a path to enjoy as the sun makes it way around the winter sky. Hilda marks today as a nil for mood, but notes the seven pileated woodpeckers who tapped out a circle of wood chips. That seemed noteworthy.
